Successful Cancer Surgery Performed on Bangladeshi Patient at 21st Century Hospital

21st Century Hospital, Vapi, recently conducted a critical cancer surgery for an international patient from Bangladesh. The 49-year-old patient, diagnosed with lung cancer, was admitted under medical visa approval and underwent surgery at the hospital’s oncology department.

Given the sensitive nature of cross-border medical travel, the procedure was carried out after obtaining the necessary permissions from the relevant authorities. The patient was admitted on 28th May 2025Wednesday and operated on the following day. Post-surgery, he is currently under observation in the ICU and is recovering well.

The surgery was led by Dr. Akshay Nadkarni and the multidisciplinary oncology team, utilizing advanced protocols to ensure safety and positive outcomes. The patient is expected to stabilize further before discharge.

At 21st Century Hospitals, our focus remains on providing timely, advanced, and ethical treatment to all patients, in alignment with our values of care, compassion, and clinical precision
